Public Keys vs. Public Addresses A public key is a long string of letters and numbers derived from your private key. However, it’s not what you actually use when receiving bitcoin. Instead, Bitcoin wallets create public addresses, which act as a layer of privacy. ✅ A public key is like your home address—if you shared it with everyone, people could track your incoming mail. ✅ A public address is like a P.O. Box—it hides your actual address while still allowing you to receive bitcoin. Why Does Bitcoin Use Public Addresses On Top of Public Keys? 🔹 Privacy: If you reused the same public key for every transaction, people could track all the bitcoin sent to you. 🔹 Security: Public addresses provide an extra layer of protection, reducing the risk of attacks. How Do Public Addresses Work? • You can generate unlimited public addresses without needing a new wallet. • Each public address is derived from your public key, but only reveals transactions associated with that specific address, keeping your overall wallet activity private. Why Should You Avoid Reusing Addresses? Every time you use the same public address, you expose more details about your bitcoin transaction history. ✅ Generating a new address each time improves your privacy and security. ✅ Bitcoin wallets typically do this automatically—you don’t need to manually create new addresses. Stop trying to time the bottom. The biggest altcoin opportunities are coming, but only if you follow ONE buy rule. Ignore this, and you'll regret it. The worst mistake that traders/investors make during market conditions like this is trying to time the bottom. No one knows when the bottom is in, just like no one knows when the top is in. So instead of gambling, implement a framework that allows you to take less risk, whilst maintaining exposure to the upside when the market turns. Here's mine. It revolves around the 3 key trends: 1. Downtrend (current PA) 2. Accumulation/sideways trends 3. Uptrend Before I get into an analysis of each one, I want to make the distinction between the broader market trend (BTC) and specific alts. Obviously there is going to be heavy overlap with the broader trend, but this article is focused on how I'm playing specific altcoin PA. DOWNTREND This is the current trend we're in. You want to AVOID buying here. The issue with downtrends, is you have no idea when they're going to end. So even if you buy every dip, your cost basis can end up being quite high if the market keeps dipping. This is ok for coins that you have extremely high conviction in, that you think will inevitably end up coming back at some point. However, you have to be very careful with this - as you need extreme mental fortitude to manage being underwater for extended periods of time. Personally, I don't like being underwater - so the alts I'm currently DCAing into are extremely limited. For the rest, I'm following the next 2 phases (accumulation + uptrend).👇 ACCUMULATION Once price starts to settle, this is a sign of seller exhaustion. If price continuously respects a particular level (forming a range low), you can bid this level and cut below if needed (invalidation). Many alts won't even go through accumulation. We're seeing a market-wide cleanse, where some alts will die as they fail to find a floor. If an altcoin DOES show signs of finding a floor, it's a good sign (albeit not foolproof), that it has a higher likelihood of making a comeback during an up-trending market. UPTREND Generally speaking, this is the "safest" time to buy an altcoin. The hardest part is getting the right execution and not FOMOing into pumps. You still want to maintain clear invalidations. Once structure shifts from bearish (downtrend) to bullish (uptrend), you have 2 options. 1. Get in on a break of structure (clearing the prior range high), or 2. Buy pullbacks (bullish continuation with invalidations below prior lows). It's better to cut quick on the confirmation of a lower low, and get back in on a new confirmed uptrend, than running the risk of exposing yourself to further downside. In principle, all this sounds simple, but you do need a basic knowledge of how to read price action and execute. And importantly, the mental fortitude to stick to a plan. Most people fail because they get too emotional and are unable to execute their intended strategy. Like and Follow For More.

And more importantly, how can the Pi Core Team restore faith in the project?   Why Has the Community Lost Trust in Pi Coin?  Many pioneers are growing impatient and frustrated due to several key issues:   1️⃣ Endless Delays in Open Mainnet From the beginning, pioneers were told that the project would eventually transition to an open and decentralized mainnet. However, despite multiple promises, the Open Mainnet is still not live. The enclosed mainnet has limited Pi’s usability, preventing pioneers from fully utilizing their tokens.   Every time the team pushes the launch date further without clear reasons, trust weakens. People begin to wonder:Is Pi Coin a real project, or is it just an endless waiting game?   2️⃣ Lack of Transparency and Clear Communication   The Pi Core Team rarely gives straightforward updates. Most announcements are vague, filled with general statements about “progress” without real details. Unlike other crypto projects that engage their communities daily, Pi’s team remains largely silent.   Without transparency, rumors and doubts spread quickly. Some even question if Pi will ever be a real, tradable cryptocurrency.   3️⃣ KYC Issues: Millions Still Left Behind The Know Your Customer (KYC) process has been a nightmare for many pioneers. Some have waited for months or even years without approval. Others have completed KYC but still face issues migrating their Pi to the mainnet.   If millions of pioneers can’t even verify their accounts, how can Pi truly become a global currency? This frustration has led many users to abandon the project altogether.   4️⃣ No Real-World Use Cases  A cryptocurrency’s value depends on its utility. While some businesses accept Pi within the enclosed network, mainstream adoption is still lacking. Pioneers expected partnerships with major companies and global merchants—but so far, those expectations remain unfulfilled.   Without real adoption, Pi remains just a number on a screen, not a usable asset.   5️⃣ Overpromising and Under-Delivering   Early on, the Pi team created huge expectations. Many pioneers believed Pi would be listed on major exchanges and have significant value upon mainnet launch. However, as time passed, those dreams have faded.   The lack of a realistic roadmap has led to disappointment, making it harder for pioneers to stay engaged.   How Can the Pi Team Regain Trust? While trust has been damaged, it’s not beyond repair. Here’s what the Pi Core Team must do to restore confidence in the project:   ✅ Set a Clear and Public Roadmap The team must provide realistic timelines** for the Open Mainnet, KYC fixes, and global adoption plans. No more vague promises—just clear deadlines and milestones.   ✅ Improve Transparency and Communication   Regular updates through official channels, AMA (Ask Me Anything) sessions, and better engagement with the community will help rebuild trust. Pioneers need to feel heard.   ✅ Fix KYC and Make It Accessible to All   A fair and efficient KYC system is essential. No more delays, no more random selections—everyone who has mined Pi should have a chance to verify their identity.   ✅ Speed Up Open Mainnet Launch  The enclosed mainnet has limited the project’s potential. To keep pioneers engaged, the team must launch the Open Mainnet as soon as possible and allow Pi to be traded freely.   ✅ Create Real-World Use Cases The team should partner with major businesses, online platforms, and service providers to make Pi a true medium of exchange. Without real-world adoption, Pi’s value will remain speculative.   ✅ Address Community Concerns Honestly Instead of avoiding criticism, the team should acknowledge past mistakes and show that they are actively working on solutions. Trust is built through honesty, not silence.   Can Pi Coin Recover?  Pi Network still has a massive global community. The concept is unique, and the potential is huge—but without real action, it risks becoming just another failed crypto experiment.   The ball is in the Pi Core Team’s court. If they make the right moves, they can still turn things around.
