Lead the Charge: Bitget KCGI 2023 Futures Copy Trading Competition Rules
As the first chapter of this year’s KCGI - Spot Trading Competition - enters a climax, the second chapter - Futures copy trading Competition is opening up for all traders to gather their followers and ascend the pinnacle of sociaL trading.
Eligibility and teaming up
Registration for Bitget KCGI 2023: Futures Copy Trading Competition starts at 10:00 AM (UTC+8), September 1, 2023, and ends at 10:00 AM (UTC+8), September 15, 2023.
The Competition lasts from September 15, 2023, 10:00 AM (UTC+8) to September 30, 2023, 10:00 AM (UTC+8).
This competition is open to all registered Bitget users but only certified Elite Traders can create their teams.
To sign up for this event, log in to your Bitget account or register a new one, head to our KCGI Futures Copy Trading Page or select ‘Copy Trading’ under our KCGI landing page.
To create your own team, click on ‘Create a team’ and set your team name, captain, and logo.
You can also join other teams by browsing our Team list or searching teams by their names before clicking on ‘Join a team’ on the right.
A minimum of 10 team members (including the captain) is required for each team to join our Futures Copy Trading Competition. At 10:00 AM (UTC+8), September 15, 2023, any team with fewer than 10 members will be disbanded.
Sub-accounts are not eligible, and profit from sub-accounts will not be counted toward your total profit.
Market makers' accounts and accounts with API trading history are not eligible. Any API trading order during the event will result in disqualification.
Eligibility may be subject to your country and/or region’s legal and regulatory environment. Please conduct with full knowledge of any restrictions or requirements for using Bitget trading services in your country and/or region.
Rewards distribution
10 teams with the highest total profit will be eligible to split our prize pool. Teams with the same total profit will be ranked by their total trading volume.
Profits from trading our USDT-Margined futures will be counted towards your total profit.
Prize pool for Futures Copy Trading Competition will grow with the number of participants to a maximum of 80,000 USDT:

Valid participants are defined as certified Elite Traders or traders who achieved at least 1,000 USDT in futures copy trading volume and fulfilled at least 2 copy trading orders in one team.
3 teams with the highest total profit will earn 30%, 20%, and 10% of our prize pool.
The rest 40% will be distributed between teams with the 4th to 10th highest profit by their recorded profit, but rewards for a single team are capped at 10% of the prize pool. Any excess will be shared between subsequent eligible teams.
Captains will be entitled to 30% of their team winnings and the rest will be distributed between team members by their recorded Futures Copy Trading profit:
20%, 10%, and 10% to 3 team members with the highest positive profit;
The rest 30% will be distributed between team members with the 4th to 10th highest positive profit by their recorded profit, but rewards for a single team member are capped at 10% of their team winnings. Any excess will be shared between subsequent eligible team members.
Terms conditions
Any suspicious behavior, including but not limited to wash trading, spam registration, abnormally high-frequency trading, fraud, illegal activities, etc., will result in immediate disqualification.
Bitget reserves the right to the final interpretation of the competition.
