• Elysia has introduced a new Real-World Assets (RWA) on the XRPL to expand existing products and create more financial opportunities for users.

Leading Real World Assets (RWA) tokenization firm Elysia has announced the introduction of a new RWA Pool on XRP Ledger (XRPL). According to the report, the objective is to expand the existing products on the Ledger beyond the US Treasury products introduced previously. Fascinatingly, this happened after Ondo Finance announced that it was bringing US Treasury Fund OUSG to the XRPL, as indicated in our earlier discussion.

The latest initiative by Elysia would ensure that users explore new financial opportunities via the Ripple stablecoin RLUSD. Per the report, the pool would serve as a “test initial for future permanent RWA pool utilizing RLUSD.” Meanwhile, RLUSD was launched last year but continues to expand to new exchanges, as featured in our recent coverage.

More About the RWA Launch in XRPL

According to the report, the “launch of the First Real Estate-Based RWA Pool on XRP Ledger” marks the first expansion of the RWA ecosystem on the XRPL. The deposit options would be the XRP / RLUSD tokens. The deposit of XRP: XRP collateral would also be locked and used for lending. There would be a lower APR of around 2.5% while the XRP quantity remains the same.

The RLUSD: RLUSD deposit would also be directly made to the pool to provide a higher APR of 5%. After these, an additional level of security would be unlocked on the ledger with licensed custody wallets. With this, the team would partner with licensed Virtual Asset Service Provider INFINITE BLOCK to ensure the safe management of assets.

For XRP deposits: The deposited XRP is transferred and locked in the INFINITE BLOCK wallet, which serves as collateral to borrow RLUSD from ELYFI. RLUSD is then deposited into the real estate pool…For RLUSD deposits: The deposited RLUSD is directly sent to the ELYFI pool and used in the real estate pool. At the end of the pool period, users will receive their principal along with profits generated from the real estate.

Previous TBILL Launch by Elysia

In December 2024, Elysia also announced its plans to launch US Treasury Bills (TBILL tokens) on the XRPL. According to that report, the plan was to unlock the best of Decentralized Finance (DeFi) and Traditional Finance (TradFi) on the XRPL. The press release also disclosed that users would be able to stake XRP for TBILL tokens while earning yield from the underlying assets.
