Trump Hints End to US-China Tariff Hikes: "Higher Tariffs, No Buyers"
According to PANews on April 18, Reuters reported that US President Trump stated on Thursday that the reciprocal tariffs between the US and China might soon come to an end. He also hinted that the agreement concerning the fate of TikTok might need to wait. Speaking to reporters at the White House, he said, "I don't want tariffs to keep increasing because, at a certain point, people just stop buying."
