DATA: Bitcoin's Illiquid Supply Reaches 74% of Total, Record High
According to data tracked by ETC Group and Glassnode, illiquid entities currently hold 14.61 million BTC, which equates to 74 percent of the total circulating supply of bitcoin (19.75 million). André Dragosch, head of research at ETC Group, said that this figure represents a record high for bitcoin's illiquid supply, suggesting that the supply shock triggered by the halving is actually intensifying. This will give Bitcoin and other crypto assets an increasing boost in the coming months.
