Chainalysis: TRUMP Dinner Earned $900K in Transaction Fees for Trump and Allies in 2 Days
According to Jinse, a report by Chainalysis reveals that President Trump and his allies have earned nearly $900,000 in transaction fees from the president's TRUMP cryptocurrency token within the last two days. This follows an announcement on Wednesday that stated the token would host a dinner with the President to encourage the top 220 holders to participate. Critics view the dinner contest as an overt attempt to monetize access to the President. Notably, since its launch in January, trading activity has generated approximately $324.5 million in transaction fees for insiders. These fees are generated through the token's built-in mechanism, which transfers a portion of each transaction to wallets controlled by the project—wallets that, according to Chainalysis, are associated with the token's creators.
