The yield on the winning bid for the U.S. 30-year Treasury bond re-issuance hit the highest level since January
US Treasury Department continued to issue $22 billion of 30-year Treasury bonds with a bid yield of 4.813%, the highest level since January. The pre-issuance trading level at 1 pm Eastern Time was 4.839%. The yield on the bond at that maturity rose by about 5 basis points during the day, exceeding 5% at one point on Wednesday.
