Hyperlane Shares Airdrop Plans With 57% For Community
- Hyperlane will allocate 57% of the total HYPER token supply to its community through a structured airdrop, supporting broader participation in its cross-chain ecosystem.
- Users can check eligibility now, with token claims officially opening on April 22, 2025, at 11:00 UTC via the Hyperlane portal.
Hyperlane, a project that has long been known among cross-chain developers, has released details about their token airdrop called HYPER. And the number they announced is no small number—57% of the total token supply will be allocated to the community. Yes, you read that right. More than half.
The HYPER Airdrop has arrived.

Eligibility Checking Period Open Until April 13, 2025
Now, we can go directly to the official portal at Hyperlane to check eligibility. This checking process has been open since early April and will close on April 13, 2025.
After that, anyone who is eligible can start claiming their tokens starting April 22, 2025, at exactly 11:00 UTC. So, if you tend to forget important dates (especially if there is no notification from your wallet), you better write it down now.
Recent Milestones That Strengthen Hyperlane’s Cross-Chain Role
Maybe some of you are thinking, “Who is Hyperlane?” Well, this is not a project that just appeared yesterday. On October 16, 2024, Hyperlane and Velodrome Finance has launched “Superlane,” an interoperability layer aimed at accelerating Superchain interoperability. Velodrome is the first to implement the benefits of Superlane in its application, expanding its role as a liquidity layer for Superchain.
And on November 6, 2024, they have officially been present on ZKsync Era and ZKsync VM, bringing permissionless interoperability to the ever-growing ZKsync ecosystem. They are essentially creating a pathway for cross-chain applications, eliminating the need for permissions and removing any barriers.
And that’s not all. On January 31, 2025, Hyperlane also officially launched their first Vault Restaking via the Symbiotic platform. In simple terms, they are creating a “digital vault” where users can store assets to help secure cross-chain communication lines.
DIA Lumina Chooses Hyperlane for Cross-Chain Messaging
Furthermore, on March 25, 2025, DIA Lumina decided to fully integrate with Hyperlane as their cross-chain messaging protocol.
This means that oracle data can be sent to hundreds of blockchains securely without having to ask anyone’s permission. Imagine if you could send important messages to hundreds of people in one click, without a group admin. Well, that’s more or less the concept in the blockchain space.
Expansion Rewards Program to Incentivize Ongoing Participation
But wait, this story doesn’t stop at airdrops. Hyperlane is also preparing an “expansion rewards” program for active users and developers. So, the more you get involved, the more likely you are to get a bonus every quarter.
Simply put, the more diligent you are in playing, the greater your chances of getting additional prizes. If you compare it, it’s like getting cashback every time you have coffee at the same place.
