U.S. stocks open significantly lower, Trump Media Tech Group falls over 9%

The market was tense before Trump announced tariffs, with the three major US stock indices opening lower. The Dow fell 0.82%, the Nasdaq fell 1.39%, and the S&P 500 index fell 1.04%. Tesla dropped more than 5%, with first-quarter deliveries of 336,681 vehicles, below market expectations. Trump Media Technology Group plunged over 9% due to the company's submission of a common stock issuance application.
