News on March 22, according to data released by Deribit official personnel, the volatility index DVOL of BTC has fallen to 47.
In the past year, the DVOL was higher than the current value 96% of the time, with a maximum of 92 and a minimum of 41. A sharp drop in volatility indicates that the market believes that BTC will not plummet or soar significantly but will move sideways for some time.
