The CEO of Ripple , Brad Garlinghouse, is optimistic about the future of the company's native token, XRP, following the resolution of the long-running legal battle with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). In a interview In a recent interview with Bloomberg, the executive expressed his optimism and confidence in the inclusion of XRP in the US strategic reserve of digital assets and predicted approvals of XRP exchange-traded funds (ETFs) as early as 2025.
“XRP was named by the chairman of Truth Social. (He said) there will be a strategic reserve of bitcoin and a crypto stockpile that will include things like XRP,” Garlinghouse said, referring to an initiative that was formalized by an executive order from U.S. President Donald Trump.
In addition to the potential inclusion in the strategic reserve, Garlinghouse sees a bright future for XRP ETFs. “I have immense confidence in ETFs,” he said. The Ripple executive estimates that the regulator could approve a number of XRP ETFs in the second half of this year.
