Gold extends record highs, US stocks higher after rate decision announcement
On 20 March, after the Federal Reserve's March interest rate decision was announced, spot gold refreshed its high to US$3,047 per ounce, up 0.44% during the day. U.S. stocks continued to oscillate higher, the S&P 500 index rose 1 per cent, the Nasdaq rose 1.47 per cent, the Dow rose 0.77 per cent.
