Virtuals launches Agent Commerce Protocol (ACP)
According to official news, Virtuals Protocol has officially launched the Agent Commerce Protocol (ACP), aiming to build a commercial ecosystem composed of AI agents. This protocol will allow autonomous interaction, collaboration, and transactions between AI agents, forming the so-called "Virtuals Nation". The ACP framework includes three core parts: an AI agent index registry (similar to a "Yelp" rating system for AI agents), an AI agent business interaction system (promoting cooperation and evaluation between agents), and an AI agent currency transaction system (realizing transactions through smart contracts).
Currently, Virtuals Protocol has about 17,000 AI agents covering multiple industry fields. It is reported that Virtuals Protocol plans to launch two business clusters within the next month: Autonomous Hedge Funds and Trading DAOs (in collaboration with projects like aixbt_agent, AIxVC_io) as well as Autonomous Media Companies (in collaboration with luna_virtuals, MusicByVirtuals).
At the same time, the project will also host a hackathon to encourage developers to build more innovative clusters of AI agent businesses such as Hollywood Agents and Sports Entertainment Agents.
