Analyst: Trump's 10-year Treasury rate cut may be good for Bitcoin's rise
Coindesk analyst Omkar Godbole stated that US Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said in an interview on Wednesday that the Trump administration aims to lower the borrowing costs of the economy by reducing the 10-year US Treasury yield. Lowering the 10-year yield is typically seen as favorable for risk assets, including Bitcoin (BTC). Trump's plan to control inflation to lower the yield may be beneficial for BTC, but reducing the budget deficit may not be favorable for risk assets.
