MicroStrategy announced that it purchased 11,000 Bitcoins for approximately $1.1 billion in cash.

MicroStrategy founder Michael Saylor shared on his X account that MicroStrategy purchased 11,000 BTC for approximately $1.1 billion at an average price of $101,191 per Bitcoin.

“MicroStrategy purchased 11,000 BTC for $1.1 billion at a cost of approximately $101,191 and achieved a BTC Yield of 1.69% in 2025 YTD.

As of 1/20/2025, we hold 461,000 BTC purchased at an average price of $63,610 for approximately 29.3 billion.
