MoonPay receives Texas money transmitter license
the cryptocurrency payment platform MoonPay has announced that it has been awarded a Money Transmitter License by the banking department of Texas. From now on, Texas users can purchase 64 types of cryptocurrencies through Venmo and PayPal. According to statistics, more than one-fifth of the voting-age population in Texas holds cryptocurrency.
MoonPay plans to expand its services by 2025, allowing Texas residents to sell cryptocurrencies including BTC, ETH, and SOL. Currently, MoonPay has obtained money transmitter licenses in 45 states in the United States.
