Apple CEO Makes Bitcoin Statement! Will Apple Invest in BTC?
Apple CEO Tim Cook announced that he invested in Bitcoin.
Although Apple is cautious about institutional Bitcoin (BTC), Apple CEO Tim Cook announced that he has an investment in Bitcoin.
Apple CEO Tim Cook revealed in a recent interview that he has been personally holding BTC for three years as part of his investment diversification strategy.
Cook stated that his BTC investment was personal and had nothing to do with Apple.
The famous CEO noted that Apple will not include cryptocurrencies in its business model, including payment systems or corporate portfolio, in the near future or in the future.
Cook noted that while Bitcoin's potential is significant, Apple remains cautious about emerging technologies.
“I have been investing in Bitcoin for three years as part of portfolio diversification. However, Apple has no intention of investing in BTC or cryptocurrencies.
Currently, Apple is focusing on its core product lines of smartphones, computers, wearables, and related services rather than entering the volatile cryptocurrency market.
At the same time, Apple allows crypto wallets and blockchain-related apps to launch on the App Store, but does not plan to participate more directly in the crypto ecosystem.”
