Cryptocurrency exchange Bitget has relaunched its platform in the UK after being temporarily banned for violating local advertising laws. The platform's website is now fully compliant with UK law.
Recall that in May 2024, the Bitget cryptocurrency exchange restricted access to its platform for all users from the UK due to violation of requirements for conducting promotions.
Bitget is monitoring the new financial promotions regime and is temporarily suspending new customer acceptance until we can rebuild our UK website to comply with the new requirements, a Bitget cryptocurrency exchange spokesperson said at the time.
The relaunch of the UK cryptocurrency exchange has been made possible after independent marketing expert Archax reviewed and approved the site.
Archax, an independent financial promotions and marketing expert authorised by the UK's financial regulator to review content, has verified that our platform meets all requirements for promotions, Bitget exchange said in an official statement.
