US media: Most Georgia voters list the economy as their top concern
According to a preliminary result of the CNN exit poll of Georgia voters, about 40% of voters in the state said the economy was their top concern. Less than 3% of voters said democracy was their top concern, about 14% said abortion, about 10% said immigration, and less than 5% said foreign policy. This is in sharp contrast to the rest of the United States, where democracy is the top issue. Georgia voters are deeply divided on whether federal hurricane aid has gone to those who need it, with slightly less than half saying they support the view and half saying they do not. Nearly 60% of the state's residents say they do not support President Biden. Georgia voters are also deeply divided on whether they trust Harris or Trump more to handle crises.
