a16z donates over $23 million to crypto lobby group Fairshake
On November 4th, a16z partner Chris Dixon posted on social media that today we have donated over $23 million in additional funds to Fairshake and its affiliated political action committees (PACs) for the 2026 midterm election cycle. Our contribution to Fairshake is just an important part of our ultimate goal of establishing clear laws to regulate the cryptocurrency industry, while protecting consumers and enabling entrepreneurs to innovate and build with confidence. Many industries come to Washington to demand regulatory cuts, but we are here to demand regulations be established.
