According to data from TheBlock Pro, in October the trading volume of Bitcoin and Ethereum options increased. The monthly trading volume of Bitcoin options reached 54 billion US dollars, an increase of 39.8%; the trading volume of Ethereum options was 10.2 billion US dollars, an increase of 4.7%, and the open interest of Bitcoin options increased by 35.76%. In addition, the open interest of Bitcoin futures on the CME increased by 21.5% to 12.5 billion US dollars in October, and the daily trading volume increased by 9.6% to about 5.3 billion US dollars. The monthly trading volume of Ethereum futures increased by 4.8% to 488.8 billion US dollars.
