Nvidia to be included in Dow Jones
S&P Dow Jones Indices announced that Nvidia will be added to the Dow Jones Industrial Average, replacing Intel as the current chip industry component stock in the Dow. At the same time, Sherwin-Williams Co. will replace Dow Chemical as another component stock in the Dow. Analysts believe that this adjustment marks the increasing importance of artificial intelligence and high-performance computing.
