On November 1st, the official website of the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission updated the application information for a virtual asset trading platform license, which showed that Nebula Exchange had submitted a virtual asset trading platform license application to the Commission on October 25, 2024. The name of the virtual asset trading platform operator company submitted was "Nebula Hong Kong Limited", and there is currently no Chinese name available. As of now, the number of applicants for virtual asset trading platform licenses announced by the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission is 15. According to the Anti Money Laundering and Counter Terrorist Financing Ordinance, 11 platforms including HKbitEX, PantherTrade, Accumulus, DFX Labs, Bixin.com, xWhale, YAX, Bullish, Crypto.com, WhaleFin, and Matrixport HK were considered licensed.
