Crypto Council for Innovation to Assimilate Proof of Stake Alliance as Regulators Increase Attention on Staking in Digital Assets
The Crypto Council for Innovation (CCI) is set to absorb the Proof of Stake Alliance (POSA), with Alison Mangiero, POSA's executive director, remaining in charge of the project. CCI has also expanded its global reach by hiring an advisor in Africa and forming partnerships with groups in Japan and the UK, as regulators worldwide focus on staking's role in digital assets. POSA, whose members include crypto firms like Andreessen Horowitz, had been advocating for proof-of-stake ecosystems, including Ethereum and Cardano. The move is seen as a "pivotal step forward" for both groups.
