Ripple co-founder believes Harris can correct major mistakes in Biden administration's crypto policy
According to a report from Cryptonews, Chris Larsen, co-founder of Ripple, believes that Harris can play a key role in correcting the major mistakes made by the Biden administration in cryptocurrency policy. In an interview with CNBC released on Tuesday, Larsen expressed strong views on the current state of cryptocurrency regulation in the United States, describing it as a "misguided war on crypto."
Larsen said, "We strongly agree with Harris's economic philosophy, which is to encourage innovation and ensure that our American champion companies dominate in all industries around the world." In addition, Larsen strongly criticized Gary Gensler, chairman of the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), calling him "the worst public official in the country." He also pointed out the missed opportunities for the US in blockchain technology.
Previously, it was reported that the founder of Ripple had donated over $11.8 million to the Harris campaign team.
