Bitlayer and Chainlink have reached a strategic cooperation and will integrate Chainlink's CCIP protocol to promote the development of BTCFi
On October 29th, Bitlayer, a Bitcoin native layer-two project based on Bitcoin finality, announced a strategic partnership with Chainlink to integrate Chainlink's cross-chain interoperability protocol CCIP as the standard cross-chain infrastructure. This integration will enable Bitlayer developers to build feature-rich cross-chain applications based on CCIP and maximize the adoption and prosperity of BTCFi.
Regarding this partnership, Charlie Hu, co-founder of Bitlayer, said: "We are delighted to integrate the industry standard Chainlink CCIP into Bitlayer's standard cross-chain infrastructure. To improve Bitlayer's performance and achieve cross-chain functionality, we need a solution with extremely high security. Given Chainlink's impeccable security record, integrating CCIP is a natural choice."
