Fraudulent app called Curve defi v3 ranks among top 100 financial apps
a fake Curve Finance application has invaded the Apple App Store. Despite warnings from the community, it remains popular and ranked among the top 100 financial applications on October 26. The fraudulent application called "Curve defi v3" was developed by "Tao Duong Van" and misled users by imitating the legitimate Curve platform's Curve Finance logo and functionality. The application claims to provide token exchange, liquidity staking, and DeFi services, but all reviewers rated it as one star out of five and noted "scam" or "hacker" in written reviews.
The fraudulent application uses an image claiming to have over "30 million global users", attempting to establish false credibility and convince victims to download and use it.
