US court extends Ripple's deadline for filing SEC lawsuit confirmation and appearance forms by 14 days
the US Second Circuit Court of Appeals issued a default notice to Ripple's legal team earlier today, stating that Ripple missed the deadline for submitting confirmation and appearance notification forms related to the SEC lawsuit. The deadline for submitting the form was October 18, 2024. The court has approved a 14-day extension for Ripple, allowing the team to submit the required documents by November 1, 2024. If Ripple's lawyers fail to complete the submission before this new deadline, they may be prohibited from presenting their arguments at the upcoming appeal hearing without special court permission.
