Bitcoin and Ether Options Contracts Set to Expire, Crypto Market Braces for Volatility
Bitcoin and ether options contracts worth $4.2 billion and over $1 billion respectively are set to expire on Friday at 08:00 UTC. The put/call ratio for bitcoin is higher than that of ether, indicating a more bullish sentiment as the expiry approaches. The market may experience short-term volatility this week due to the expiry of monthly BTC and ETH options contracts. The ETH/BTC ratio has fallen to its lowest level since April 2021, while Bitcoin has broken the $64K mark and gold prices have soared. Additionally, Ether ETFs have seen the biggest outflows since July.
