Xu Zhengyu: Hong Kong Treasury Bureau will promote RWA and digital currency ecosystem
Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury of Hong Kong, Christopher Hui Ching-yu, announced in his speech at the Standard Chartered Enterprise Achievement Awards 2024 on October 21 that the Treasury Bureau will soon release a policy statement on the application of artificial intelligence in the financial market. The bureau will also further improve the regulation of virtual asset trading, develop a blockchain digital asset currency ecosystem, and promote the tokenization of real-world assets and digital currency ecosystem.
