18 US state attorneys general are urging President Joe Biden to help release Tigran Gambaryan, a detained executive of Binance, who is being held in Nigeria. They are requesting that President Biden designate Tigran Gambaryan as a hostage under the Robert Levinson Hostage Rescue and Hostage-Taking Accountability Act. In a joint letter released on October 18, the attorneys general expressed concerns about Gambaryan's deteriorating health and illegal detention in Nigeria.
