SEC gives NYSE the go-ahead to list options trading for multiple spot bitcoin ETFs
The SEC granted “accelerated approval” to allow for the trading and listing of options of 11 spot bitcoin ETFs.The agency first approved listing options on the iShares Bitcoin Trust on Nasdaq ISE, LLC in September.
The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has given NYSE American LLC the green light to list and trade options on multiple spot bitcoin exchange-traded funds.
The SEC granted "accelerated approval" to allow for the trading and listing of options on the Fidelity Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund, the ARK21Shares Bitcoin ETF, the Invesco Galaxy Bitcoin ETF, the Franklin Bitcoin ETF, the VanEck Bitcoin Trust, the WisdomTree Bitcoin Fund, the Grayscale Bitcoin Trust BTC, the Grayscale Bitcoin Mini Trust, the Bitwise Bitcoin ETF, the iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF and the Valkyrie Bitcoin Fund, according to the filing .
The SEC approved those spot bitcoin ETFs in January. The agency first approved listing options on the iShares Bitcoin Trust on Nasdaq ISE, LLC in September.
