Ripple pledges $1 million to International Rescue Committee, will use RLUSD to transfer relief funds
According to CryptoSlate, Ripple has announced a new partnership with the International Rescue Committee (IRC) and committed to providing $1 million to explore how its upcoming RLUSD stablecoin and cross-border payment solution can enhance cash relief and fund transfers in crisis areas. Eric Van Miltenburg, Ripple's Senior Vice President of Strategic Planning, said Ripple looks forward to leveraging IRC's expertise to expand its humanitarian work and help vulnerable communities quickly, safely, and effectively access basic resources.
