Sam's Rule founder: The Fed is expected to continue to steadily cut interest rates
Claudia Sahm, founder of the Sam Rule and economist, stated that the Federal Reserve is expected to continue steadily lowering interest rates, but it is unlikely to lower rates as significantly as it did in September by 50 basis points. Although the Federal Reserve has been successful in controlling inflation so far, Sahm acknowledges that consumers may not view the economy as positively as experts do.
