Copper appoints former Goldman Sachs executive as CEO for strategic transformation
Cryptocurrency custodian Copper Technologies Ltd. has hired former Goldman Sachs Managing Director Amar Kuchinad to replace Dmitry Tokarev as the group's CEO, as the company hopes to attract more traditional financial companies as clients and enter the US market. Copper stated in a statement on Monday that Tokarev founded Copper in 2018 and will serve as the company's founding director. The board of directors is led by former UK Chancellor of the Exchequer Philip Hammond.
