Ki Young Ju outlines Trump's challenges as a Web3 entrepreneur
Ki Young Ju, CEO of CryptoQuant, has expressed concerns regarding the significant challenges that former U.S. President Donald Trump will face as he ventures into the Web3 space.
In a statement on October 13 via the X platform, Ju critiqued Trump’s upcoming altcoin project, WLFI, which is scheduled for public sale on October 15, with project details to be revealed during a live broadcast on October 14.
Ju indicated that Trump has numerous hurdles to overcome in this new venture.
A primary challenge, according to Ju, will be the intense scrutiny Trump will encounter, akin to the experiences of blockchain investigators like ZachXBT.
For Trump to succeed, he must not only develop the WLFI project but also actively engage with his social media audience.
Ju emphasised that Trump’s engagement strategy should focus on bold and attention-grabbing messaging to sustain interest in the altcoin.
Defending the price of WLFI is also critical for maintaining momentum.
Ju highlighted the importance of securing listings for WLFI on major cryptocurrency exchanges, as this negotiation process will be vital to the altcoin’s success.
In addition, ensuring that the security of wallets and smart contracts is robust will be essential to prevent credibility issues that could impede the project’s progress.
Beyond technical and market-related challenges, Ju stressed the necessity for Trump to create compelling narratives and practical use cases for WLFI.
Without a clear purpose and application, the project risks faltering, leaving Trump open to criticism.
Ju warned that the Web3 space is highly volatile; if Trump’s project stumbles, he risks being labeled a “fraud” globally.
Recovering from such a setback could be both difficult and prolonged.
