Number of Memecoins in the 100 Largest Cryptocurrencies Increased to 9 – Here is the List
Among the largest altcoins in the cryptocurrency market, the importance of memecoins is increasing and the list is growing.
Memecoins have gained significant momentum in the cryptocurrency market, with nine of them now among the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market cap, according to CoinGecko data.
Among these, the most prominent is Dogecoin (DOGE), which ranks 9th with a market value of $16.27 billion. DOGE is currently priced at $0.1114 and has increased by 0.6% in the last 24 hours and 3.2% since last week.
Shiba Inu (SHIB) is ranked 14th with a market cap of $10.55 billion. SHIB’s price is at $0.00001784, up 0.5% in the last 24 hours and 4.2% in the last seven days.
Pepe (PEPE) is ranked 29th with a market value of $4.20 billion and a price of $0.059889. PEPE's value increased by 0.6% in the past day and 6.5% in the past week.
Dogwifhat (WIF), ranked 39th, has a market cap of $2.73 billion and is priced at $2.72. WIF is up 21.7% in the past week, despite a more modest gain of 0.6% in the last 24 hours.
Other notable additions include Bonk (BONK) at No. 60 with a market cap of $1.53 billion, Popcat (POPCAT) at No. 63 with $1.49 billion and Floki (FLOKI) at No. 64 with $1.36 billion. Brett (BRETT) and Neiro (NEIRO) round out the list at Nos. 85 and 89 with market caps of $940 million and $869 million, respectively.
