El Salvador’s President Nayib Bukele recently met with Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk at the Texas Gigafactory, where the two discussed the potential of artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, and the future of humanity.

He expressed gratitude for the opportunity to discuss these forward-thinking topics with Musk.
In response, Musk praised Bukele’s leadership and noted that their discussion covered a wide range of topics, including AI’s role in shaping the future.
Musk stated, “We had an outstanding discussion about the nature of reality and the potential of AI and robotics to transform the world.”
He added that El Salvador has “an amazing leader,” reflecting his admiration for Bukele’s progressive stance on technology and innovation.
The meeting took place as El Salvador continues to position itself as a leader in embracing emerging technologies.
