Trading Volume Data Explodes in 5 Altcoins in South Korea – Here’s the List
In South Korea, one of the countries with the highest cryptocurrency adoption, there was an increase in the trading volume of 5 altcoins.
Unusual trading activity across multiple altcoins has been observed on South Korea’s largest cryptocurrency exchange Upbit, with significant volume increases detected across multiple assets.

Beam (BEAM)
On the 4-hour chart, Beam (BEAM) saw a dramatic increase in trading volume on Upbit. While the average 50-period volume was $38 million, the most recent recorded volume increased by 125.48% to $86 million. However, this trend was not reflected on Binance, where Beam’s trading volume decreased by 39.80%, from an average of $6 million to $4 million during the same period.
0x Protocol (ZRX)
Upbit’s 1-hour chart also saw significant movement in 0x Protocol (ZRX), with volumes rising by 273.69% from an average of $76,000 to $284,000. In contrast, Binance saw a modest volume increase of 9.13%, with volumes rising from $167,000 to $182,000.
Loom Network (LOOM)
Loom Network (LOOM) also saw a surge in volume on Upbit’s 1-hour chart, with volumes increasing by 224.61% from an average of $664,000 to $2 million. Meanwhile, on Binance, volume growth was more modest at 30.31%, rising from $674,000 to $878,000.
Axie Infinity (AXS)
Axie Infinity (AXS) showed one of the most significant volume increases on Upbit’s 1-hour chart. Volume rose by 292.22% from an average of $5,000 to around $20,000. However, activity on Binance slightly declined, with volume dropping by 3.36% from $14,000 to $13,000.
Primer (ASTR)
