According to the latest development, fast food giant McDonald's announced on its official Instagram account that it has launched an altcoin called GRIMACE and launched it on the Solana network.

However, the altcoin in question appears to have been created on the memecoin platform pumpfun. In such cases, it is also necessary to consider the possibility of social media accounts being hacked.

It looks like the official McDonald’s Instagram account has likely been hacked. The account has shared numerous posts promoting the altcoin in question, meaning scammers have likely taken over the McDonald’s official Instagram account and are attempting to lure users into a rugpull scam scheme.
