RWA TVL surges more than 60% to nearly $8 billion between February and April 2024
SaucerSwap Labs claims on social media that Real World Assets (RWA) is the fastest growing sector in DeFi. From February to April 2024, the total locked value (TVL) of RWA skyrocketed by over 60%, reaching nearly $8 billion. This growth has been even more astonishing since early 2023, exceeding 700%. The market has shown a clear preference for debt-based, high-yield tokenized assets. Major global institutions are working to tokenize commodities, real estate, intellectual property, and more. This could result in trillions of dollars worth of assets being tokenized into RWA.
