SlowMist Founder Warns of Rising Phishing Scam in Toncoin Ecosystem
The SlowMist blockchain security platform has identified an increase in crypto scams within The Open Network (TON) and Toncoin ecosystem. Founder Yu Xian warns of phishing attacks spread through groups, using fake airdrops and other deceptive offers to entice users. Two-step verification is recommended to protect TON wallets from Anonymous Telegram Numbers and NFT promises. The rise in crypto scams is not limited to TON, with recent incidents involving fake stablecoins and cloned wallet apps. Investors are advised to remain vigilant against scams and fraudulent exchanges.
