SlowMist Cosine: CoinStats wallet private keys leaked on a large scale and the proportion is limited, waiting for official disclosure of details
Yuxian, the founder of SlowMist, commented on the attack on CoinStats, saying, "I used this app a while ago to conveniently view the assets of target wallets. There are many similar apps, so I won't name them. Some have their own wallet functions (which is risky), allowing users to create and use wallets. I'm curious about how the private keys of CoinStats Wallet, which is supposed to be user-managed, were leaked on a large scale, as the official statement claims that only 1.3% were affected. The reason for this large-scale leak, which is limited in proportion, can be speculated, but I won't go into it here. Let's wait for the official details to be released." Earlier today, it was reported that CoinStats was attacked, affecting 1590 encrypted wallets, and users were advised to transfer their funds immediately.
