The Winklevoss twins donate $2 million in Bitcoin to the Trump campaign
Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss contributed significantly to former US President Donald Trump's campaign, donating Bitcoin worth a total of $2 million.
Trump received these donations as part of a recent shift in his attitude toward cryptocurrencies.
The twins shared about the donation on social media platform X. Tyler Winklevoss statements : "I just donated $1 million in Bitcoin (15.47 BTC) to [Donald Trump] and I'm going to vote for him in November."
In his post, Tyler criticized the Biden administration for its stance on crypto, accusing it of using government agencies to undermine the industry. He argued that Trump would be a better choice for the crypto community.
