MilkyWay will postpone the launch of MILK token to the second half of the year
On June 21st, Celestia liquidity staking protocol MilkyWay announced that it will delay the launch of the MILK token until after the Modular Restaking Hub is launched, which is expected to happen in the second half of this year. The team will continue to operate the mPoints system until the token is launched and will introduce new changes to gamify the system through more activities such as reward point events.
In addition, the official will distribute Milky Badges to staking users in four batches. The first batch is for users from December 18, 2023 to February 14, 2024; the second batch is for users from February 15, 2024 to April 1, 2024; the third batch is for users from April 2, 2024 to May 9, 2024; and the fourth batch is for users from May 10, 2024 to June 15, 2024. If users participated in staking during these phases, they will be eligible to apply for specific badges on the points dashboard. These badges will be used as multipliers in the user's final score.
