Solana Labs co-founder: The best case median confirmation delay on Solana is 500 milliseconds
Solana Labs co-founder posted on social media that the best case for confirming the delay in median on Solana is:
1. Users directly send tx to block producers in the middle of the block (100 milliseconds);
2. Include transactions before the end of the block (200ms);
3. Validators receive the final fragments and votes (100 milliseconds);
4. Users observe 2/3+X of OC votes (100 milliseconds) for approximately 500 milliseconds.
Alternatively, it could be 300 to 700 milliseconds depending on the position of the tx in the block.
