Paris Saint-Germain beats Barcelona, fan tokens rise 25%
On Tuesday, the fan token PSG of Paris Saint-Germain Football Club soared as the French team won 4-1 against their opponent Barcelona in the quarter-finals of the European Champions League. With the first goal of Paris Saint-Germain team earlier in the first half, the token saw a strong increase, rising by up to 25%. It continued to climb until around the middle of the second half, reaching $5.20, before being sold off prior to the victory. Meanwhile, the fan token BAR of Barcelona team fell by 4.2% after their loss on Tuesday. The fan token of Paris Saint-Germain team is one of several tokens issued by the cryptocurrency company Socios for sports clubs.
