Asset hedging protocol Umoja completes US$4 million in seed round financing, with participation from Coinbase and others
Golden Finance reported that asset hedging agreement Umoja announced that it has raised $2 million in its second seed round of financing, with participation from Coinbase, 500 Global, Quantstamp, Blockchain Founders Fund, Orange DAO, Hyperithm, Psalion, and Avalanche's Blizzard Fund. As of now, Umoja has raised a total of $4 million in seed financing. Umoja was founded by Robby Greenfield, former head of social impact business at ConsenSys, with the aim of helping users invest in loss insurance like hedge funds to ensure their financial health and introduce asset risk management in the DeFi field.
