Hong Kong real estate tycoon Adrian Cheng’s fund C Capital has obtained licenses No. 4 and No. 9 issued by the Hong Kong Securities Regulatory Commis
On December 13th, it was reported that Hong Kong's Securities and Futures Commission has released updated information for licensed individuals and registered institutions for the month of November. Among them, it was shown that C Capital Investment Management Limited, owned by Hong Kong real estate tycoon Zheng Zhigang, has obtained the 4th and 9th licenses from the Securities and Futures Commission. The 4th license is for providing advice on securities, while the 9th license is for asset management.
Previously, in August 2022, it was reported that Zheng Zhigang held 101 Azuki series NFTs. In September 2022, according to Bloomberg, C Capital plans to raise $500 million over the next 18 months to invest in blockchain assets, credit, and private equity, betting on private companies and digital assets. Ben Cheng, co-founder of C Capital, has stated that their hedge fund strategy mainly focuses on cryptocurrency trading.
