KuCoin pays $22 million settlement and exits New York market to resolve its crypto lawsuit
On December 12th, according to market news, the cryptocurrency exchange platform KuCoin paid $22 million in settlement and withdrew from the New York market to resolve the cryptocurrency lawsuit.
On March 10th, New York Attorney General Letitia James filed a lawsuit against the cryptocurrency exchange platform KuCoin, accusing it of operating without a license in the state, violating securities laws by providing unregistered securities and commodities. In addition, ETH, Luna, and TerraUSD were also listed as unregistered securities in the lawsuit.
